Tiffany Dicks, Physiotherapist

Tiffany completed both her Bachelor of Kinesiology degree (2006) and Masters of Science in Physiotherapy (2009) at Dalhousie University Dalhousie University. She is licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and is a member of the Canadian Physiotherapy Association. Since graduation, Tiffany has completed additional orthopaedic and acupuncture courses. In addition to working at Balance, Tiffany also works part time with the Community Cardiovascular Hearts in Motion program, Capital Health and as a clinical instructor at Dalhousie University.

Tiffany believes there is a great value in educating her patients about their specific injury or concern. An integral part of her rehabilitative approach involves collaborating with the patient to develop individualized hands on treatment and exercise plans for specific concerns.

Tiffany feels that being physically active and maintaining a healthy lifestyle can assist with the rehabilitation process and can prevent further injuries or health concerns. She participates in Crossfit training on a daily basis and competes in Crossfit competitions. Tiffany also values spending time with her friends, traveling home to Cape Breton to enjoy the outdoors and visit with family.
